1. McCain was living in a glass house. His "natural born" citizenship isn't a sure thing. Why draw attention to this issue when it seemed that he was likely going to beat him on the issues (before the economy fell apart)?
2. It is too AUDACIOUS to think that a senator would attempt to run for president with his knowledge of Constitutional law and not have a bonafide birth certificate to show.
3. Remember the Media wasn't vetting him but rather an adoring audience. By the time there was honest doubt; it was too late for a black man to be shown the door without rioting in the street.
It takes more blind faith to believe the GOP swept his citizenship under the rug than it does to believe he is a U.S. citizen. Your 2+2 doesn't add up to 5.
