Even though I'm classed as moderate or liberal..........I'm totally Jesus Name Baptism. It was poured into my head from birth.
That being said, I think it's ok to use the "formula" and then state which is Jesus.
Kenneth Reeves always baptized folks quoting Matt 28:19 and then saying in Jesus Name.It caught me off guard the first time,but I got used to it. We attended his church mid 70's for 3 years. A great man that followed after Christ and not St Louis.
