Not disagreeing with that. The difference, though, may be, re-affirming a doctrinal stance is not akin to re-affirming a stance on adultery. I do see some difference.
All too often we talk about how great message someone preaches and not how great of a person they are. That leaves the impression that the ability is greater than the person.
Must be getting late because I am not sure what you are saying.
But for the record I am saying that if the organization chose to; they could have zero tolerance for sexual sin among the ministry. A good attorney could write a policy for the organization that has teeth.
Letting people off the hook becuase no one signs a piece of paper is ludicrous.
And suggesting that a better policy is not feasible because integrity issues sounds a bit like double speak. What have those with integrity got to be afraid of?
I'm still waiting on your scripture reference for laying hands on hands....

To see no possession but you may possess it—enjoying all without labor or purchase—

There is undoubtedly a profound truth revealed herein, but in my weariness, it escapes me at the moment.
I am going to go lay before the Lord, and maybe it will come to me.
I'm off to bed, too....
Thanks for the laughs, ya'll!!!!
