My bro drove a busload of people to Nashville and is working with security there. He said last night was packed and an estimate he heard from a conference promoter was between 18,000 to 25,000 ... more, this promoter believes, than other youth conferences have had in Nashville.

Actually, I do know what you mean. An AG friend visited once, and I was wearing a T-shirt with "BEER: Now cheaper than gas!" on it. She saw it and said "A beer shirt! Oh my, that's.... interesting!"

Now, Dora, I know you know how to show up and have the "look" that prevents those up and downs. My sister does it all the time.
Just put your hair up, use hairspray or clips to keep the bangs back, wash your face, use clear mascara and lipgloss, pinch your cheeks for color, and spackle the earring holes with makeup. Wear a skirt that's long (but tight is alright), elbow length sleeves with sewn on bracelets, and you're good to go.
Alternatively, for cheek color, just before walking out of the bathroom, hang your head upside down and hold your breath for 10 seconds.
