I was just sitting here thinking back over the many names/owners/admins etc. this forum has been thru over the years. It occurred to me that we might very well have set a new survival record with AFF. Anybody know if I might be right? I'm just curious.

Years you mean? How many years has AFF been around in some form or another? I've been posting on a forum (that's changed name, ownership, but not so much the faces) for over 11 years. And another forum I used to post on is still around, it had been around a few years before my forum got started, IIRC.

The first AFF group was just a temp place anyway to provide a spot till another was built. We knew it would be short lived. Just for the record, it still exists too-- as an emergency backup site just in case there are ever server problems with this one.
That back up site seems to collect a few wndering stragglers from time to time. Maybe we should post a banner or something there to point them in this direction. How else would they know that we/they are going to hell?

Do we have to endure this.....This died with NFCF!
I went on the death call. embalmed it, conducted the funeral with MOW officiating and even threw the dirt on the hole MYSELF!
Can we move on now...we need closure to such stupid things!
