The woman surely does travail and gives birth to their babies.(Her work has
just begun!
But how many men, AFTER the woman has travailed in labor and had the babies,
then want the woman to help carry their part too. Man doesn't go through child-
birth, and she shouldn't have to go out and leave her babies and help until he
has sweated on HIS BROW!!! Labor as in work and labor as in childbirth.

So if it seems the woman sometimes desires to "have a say", has she not earned
a right to!! Didn't say it was right. But maybe she feels it is!
Also, did God instruct Eve to go out and work by the sweat of her brow until
Adam got something (job, family, ministry, his college education, doctorate)
started or finished!

Now, let me go hide for awhile!

Sister Falla that was awesome but I like to occasionally work to have socialization. I have stayed home all Summer with the children and missed the adult interaction.
I do however like to be able to choose if I want to work not be sent out to work
by a lazy spouse. I am blessed that I can stay home if I desire. The choice is mine
but for years it was not.

Hello, Bro. TJJJ,

Yes, my husband of 50 yrs of marriage, knows that I, as
an older woman (will turn 70 next month) could teach young-
er women. I learned from my mother, and other godly older
women, that went before me. I was a pastor's daughter for
over 30 yrs and church secretary for over 50 yrs. Hubby and
I both received the Holy Ghost over 50 yrs. ago.

I have seen many things out of order (God's). Things just
do NOT work right when they are out of His order, no matter
how we might try to re-arrange or justify it!

A plumbing problem, ignored will eventually get your attention.
If ignored too long could result in permanant damage or irre-
pairable condition. In other words, just waited to late. Costly
too! In more ways than one.

Bro. I know you have an interest in family life. We have raised
six children to adulthood (all in church with their original spouses)
and 20 children among them. We could never have done it by
ourselves. Just had to do the best we could and then TRUST HIM
with the things ONLY HE COULD DO!!!

I have seen many irgore situations and would not listen and later on
the problems increased except now it was their children and then
their grandchildren. Like a curse. We choose today but tomorrow our
chidren choose and then the grandchildren choose. And by that time
it is almost unbearable to realize that IF ONLY I/WE had listened to
that older person who was much further down the road, we could have
saved ourselves, and our family, much grief and sorrow. When it gets
down to the grandchildren and you just have to stand by and watch as
you no longer have a voice in it. Not your place any longer.

On the other hand, I have seen a grandmother make a choice before I
was ever born. She turned from the traditions and searched the scriptures
and obeyed the Word. It has affected up to the beginning of a 6th gene-
ration of my family to those who believed and obeyed. Our little GREAT-
grandchild, our first, will began the 6th generation of Apostolic Truth in
our family. All because Grandma Lizzie listened, searched and obeyed the
Word of God. Some of every generation following also heard, searched and
obeyed.

Just my thoughts.

Just want you to know, dear Brother:

I was not offended in anyway by your post, regardless of who sent it.
And I did not post anything to be offensive to anyone. But we are living
in a time that is unlike anything I have seen in the almost 70 yrs. in which
I have been here. What will it be like when your daughters marry and have
your grandchildren. We must seek GOD for wisdom and direction as never
before.
Just because my children are raised, doesn't mean I don't care about
others that are coming behind us. May God help us all to do our part in
whatever way we can be of service to HIM and this world, in Jesus Name.
