Welcome!

So can we vote or not?

I firmly believe that standards are a consecration issue but also can be a matter of coming under authority.

It's hard to choose just one of those choices.

This is the thing, Brother Blume! We need the Lord to do the work and how blessed it would be to see that happen. That's a work of the Holy Ghost.

It has always been my understanding that standards and rules and guidelines were not heaven or hell issues, but rather preferences, protective measures, boundaries, or issues of personal consecration. I was not aware that a large majority of the UPCI ministerial constituency taught these things as heaven/hell issues or salvational issues.

I guess I've been in the dark all these years. So enlighten me.
Miss Bratt was hoping for only licensed UPCI ministers, however no one is following instructions.

Right. And everyone is on a different part of their journey since Acts 2:38. Some further than others. Except the Lord build this house, we labour in vain who do build. We can throw something onto someone who will not do it as a work of the Spirit, but immature blind following, which can lead them to legalism.

well, I do think that someone still sucking on a milk bottle that should be eating meat, is in jeapordy of hell....

so, it is perfectly fine for a new convert to continue previous behavior that the spirit of God has not convicted them of, while that same person a few years down the line would be sinning for doing something like this.
