Not even a little. Chapstick is about the extent of it. No jewelry either -other then our wedding rings.

Can you share what her motivation is for these choices?

Convenience

That and the fact that she grew up a tom boy on a farm and never saw the purpose in that stuff -at least she doesn't see herself wearing any of it. This is actually the same reason she keeps her hair fairly short (not butch cut, just shoulder length). She doesn't like spending insane amounts of time getting ready in the morning.

So then is it fair to say that none of her outward presentation choices are the direct result any fellowship with her Lord and Saviour?

Re: Bars..

We have an established church, but always have visitors and most Sundays have several first-time visitors. I say let the pastor/preacher preach whatever God lays on his heart.

LOL now that's a good point. I have seen people look absolutely confused when someone mentioned "mixed bathing".

What kind of church are you folks a part of?

Absolutely they are. If NOT for her/mine Lord and Savior, she would have been dead a long time ago, so in that sense she is not a rotting corpse and actually quite healthy.

We have been going to a larger AoG church nearby, but have yet to find one that we really call our "home" church. Big city. Big lights. Big churches.
