Amen! Preach it!

And how does one dress differnt or like a sinner? Easy. Have you looked at how trashy and sickening people in the world dress? Pretty easy to say since you are suppsoed to be a Christian....dress contrary to them.
Absolutely ! But this is what happens when people loose Clothes Line Holiness, they feel @ home looking like the world!

If it is an oddity and an abomination for a man to wear a woman's garment in Deut 22:5, I have to think, to stay in context, that the women in that passage, on wearing a man's apparel, is in that same frame of mind.

What, therefore, would be the "principle" without taking the passage out of context? Is the principle that either gender will lead to homosexuality? Further the homosexual mentality? Because I think that before they changed wardrobes, something was going on in the heart. The wardrobe was only the outer expression of what was going on in the heart, IMO.

Perhaps you could explain that further.

Deu 22:5 The woman shall not exist as/become/be that which pertaineth unto a valiant man or warrior, neither shall a valiant man or warrior put on a woman's cover, assuming the shape of the object beneath (to resemble; a likeness) all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Deu 22:5 There shall not be the thing of a man on a woman, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Jehovah your God.

Deu 22:5 Women must not pretend to be men, and men must not pretend to be women. The LORD your God is disgusted with people who do that.

Deu 22:5 The habiliments (or the special dress or garb associated with an occasion) (or office or characteristic furnishings or equipment) of a man are not on a woman, nor doth a man put on the garment of a woman, for the abomination of Jehovah thy God is any one doing these.

This is ridiculous... I have heard anti- Holiness folks use this many times... get a new one.

Re: My Name is on www.wedeclare.org

Some see the world through labels - and what a blinder that is! Blind guides! You can rest easy knowing that anything not in agreement with your viewpoint is "charismatic" (envision: demonic, evil, pseudo-spiritual people who sleep together in wild orgies, collect huge offerings, and hang out in exotic islands), or "emerging" (picture, ripped up denim jeans, no move of the Spirit, theology lacking a hell, etc) or "lost" (those dirty, rotten sinners that we want to be nothing like). Always extremes. It's more comfortable that way. Marginalize your opponents. Don't bother wrestling with the truth of the matter. Put them in these stigmatized groups, no matter how much they don't fit, and then think good of yourself for being the super hero. That's how novels are made -- the bad guys characteristics are exagerrated to help make the distinction of the good guy. Take the spandex off and put the Word in your hands, looking at it with honesty, not concerned with the results, and without fear. I think you'll do much better.

Not everyone, (not even most) and it's a very insulting thing to say. My mother-in-law is not Apostolic, wears pants, and I ASSURE you she does not dress like trash! She dresses more modestly than most Apostolics. Her pants are very, very loose, don't show her form at all, the same with her tops. I've never even seen her in a sleeveless top.

She doesn't dress like trash, and it's offensive to say that she does.
