Hey...newsflash. Maybe Mooney wasn't posturing. Maybe he actually believes what he was preaching. I know that is strange to some.

And actually it is not totally possible to "withdrwaw" before a vote.

obviously you don't understand the voting process.
otherwise you would understand how he was nominated and then withdrew

Nomination is by written ballot.
And he has been posturing for weeks for a nomination. Why would he suddenly say "no thanks."

Very suspicious. Shenanigans going on in St Louis.

I understand it, but misunderstood the numbers that were listed after the three nominees names (posted here) - - thought that was the VOTE.

Once he was nominated, he should have withdrawn.
In my experience with AOG General Council's, that is the protocol. Many of the "big name" preachers in the AOG like Tommy Barnett and John Lindall are almost always nominated but once their name is listed on the nominating ballot, they walk to the microphone and say something like they "greatfully and humbly" withdraw their name from the nominating ballot.

I've never seen a nominee wait to see how the voting went to then withdraw. I guess Mooney can tell the next GS that it was his position to turn down???
