Did she delete something? I read he left a sour taste in her mouth many years ago. Thats not the most horrible light.

Sister Alvear knew both sides you dont need to.

Re: DKB: The Leader

I don't feel I said anything wrong...sorry you have taken offence...I only said he should have known the full story...
I have posted thousands of posts about the UPC and have never said one evil work about them. I just mentioned that he left a sour taste in our mouth over something he knew nothing about. That was my first impression of him and our only contact with him...however that does not mean that I do not think he is a man of God.

I have used his material on different occasions and I think he is bright and very intelligent. I am sorry you are so offended...

I think you are really over-reacting to what was posted.

And I'm saying that WE don't know his side of the story - only yours. And since it was a personal matter you should have used some wisdom and kept it to yourself.

Re: DKB: The Leader

I don't have time now we are fixing to travel..however I don't mind relating the fact...however it was many years ago and it was a first impression thing...something that everytime his name is mentioned I think about it...he has probably long forgot...lol..

It takes great wisdom and in that ONE LONE INCIDENT we felt he jumped into something that he did not know the full story...I am sure time has given us and him more wisdom. PO I do not hold nothing against DB and those that know me personally KNOW I would never say anything to hurt the UPC. I admire their missions programs and the way their missionaries are cared for.

People all of us are just humans and we all make mistakes...that is what makes us humans and not gods...

Obviously I am totally ticked. I can't believe that you would come on a forum and tell something about him - FROM A LONG TIME AGO - that was no one's business but yours, ALLOWING ALL readers and lurkers to have doubts about his character. Shameful!
