LOL

Odds are, for the most part, the list will include things that violate one of the Ten Commandments and some organizational prohibitions that are just tradition. I don't want to see Nitehawk's religious convictions bashed too badly. Nitehawk's a good saint.

I actually don't think I still have the list. If I recall it was one of our assignments to find them in scripture and see if we could find all 71. I do not remember actually doing the homework. LOL.

It just always stuck in my mind that he siad the number 71. as opposed to the 248 prohibitions of the Law. Of the 613 commnds in the Law, 248 are considered outright prohibitions, the other 365 ae considered admonishments.

Do you remember whether "don't eat meat that was offered to idols" was on the list?

Yeah, and don't forget Romans 13! (Not the favorite scripture, for some people. )

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Anything that falls short is sin.

There ya go. And "If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives."

So how could any Bible believer vote "Yes"? (Unless they skipped the instructions in post 1. )

The ability to be sinless is not predicated on whether any man actually is or will be. It's a potential thing. Men have the potential to be sinless. It's something that I doubt will ever happen though.

Good Post Timmy.

As far as I'm concerned, only one person who walked this earth could make the claim to be sinless.... Jesus. Not even believers receiving the HG. We received the HG, but we never stopped being human. I'm not trying to justify sin at all.......I'm just trying to put things into perspective and be real, if we could be sinless I guess you'd say you don't need an advocate after all......

Someone else on another thread alluded to being sinless ever since receiving the HG.....I asked them 3 times in the thread if they'd directly admit to being perfectly sinless since recieving the HG as they'd alluded to, and they wouldn't respond. I'm not a hippocrate and I wish everyone the best in their walk........

but only one was truly capable of a sinless life imho.

9This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
