There are regional dialects of Texan, of course. I hear "Coke" for generic sweet, fizzy stuff around Austin some, but not that often. "Soda water" sometimes. (That one bugs me for some reason. I think of unflavored carbonated water, when I hear it. Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
Ever notice that "y'all" isn't always second person plural? "Is y'all's husband home?" And the "all" in it isn't always good enough? "I can take all of y'all!"
Timmy, I almost added "Soda Water" to this list myself. I don't know why that bothers me as well. It took a while for me to realize just how widespread it is in Texas.
