Hoovie - Chimney Sweeps History!

Yesterday I had my chimney swept and he was a talker.

He was telling me about the history of the chimney sweeps and how they would leave a half pence when they were finished for luck.

Also, that they would attend weddings "for luck".

It was all interesting!

Have you ever told us all that here?

Yes there is a lot of history and folklore surrounding Chimney Sweeps.
