Neck was your dad a pastor at one time? I am sure he wasn't the sheep slapping type.

I can understand that, but of course at the same time if I had a church full of "saints" who wrote the other letter to me they could walk too for all that mattered.
Point is there are some really bad, power hungry pastors out there, all agree. And there some idiot, cry babys sitting in the pews too. Such is life. To pastor and "saint" alike, dont like it, get out. Either way you can interpret each letter like most here do the bible, 50 thousand ways. Those who lean one way will make it say what they want to hear and vice versa. There is just so much more in the church I can find to complain about most of the time. Like why did they paint the nursery baby poo green ? Or why is that kid crying in here while Im trying to video my sermon to post online ! (Luv ya Nakhoe! )

You know I won't sit under a pastor I'd feel any need to write a letter like the other one to. And I won't sit under a pastor who'd write a letter like this one. lol You know I'm big on the don't like it, leave it.
But, I'm a nobody. A pastor is in leadership. By the time they get into that sort of position, they should be grown up enough to never even consider writing such stupidity and definitely not distributing it. But, again, you know what my experiences with pastors have been.

He did pastor a couple of churches. He preached a sermon entitled "Madness".
Talking about how saints in the church don't know which head to bring to church on a given Sunday.
How nothing pleased some pastors....

he felt like he needed to answer each and every question. Even we he traveled it was not uncommon for him to skip Sunday lunch at a church and be found expounding to saints during the time between services.

I always had the impression that your dad was a gentle person. He probably made a really good pastor.--I love the part about him being an extraordinary listener.

That's cool.
I'm probably never going to be particularly pleasant towards pastors who don't have it together.

Some of the most frustrating things he had to overcome. Some of his best friends in the ministry were pastors he preached for and he could not get over, the things they would tell him about the saints.

Wait a sec, are we talking about the sheepy sheep slapping type, or the sleepy sheep slapping type?
I think Neck has just coined a classic, "sheep slappers."
