If I am not mistaken, I am watching the 3rd sermon on Baptism, he just said they baptized that group of 1000 in "Jesus" name, (unless he is talking about Jesus Authority and still baptizing them in the titles), that is significant, buried in the Name!!!

Nope, "Father, Son, & Holy Spirit." http://www.elevationchurch.org/beliefs
Either way, it's still significant!
Great church, great story, one of the models we learn from significantly. By the way, he (Furtick) sites Jim Cymbala and the book "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire" as the inspiration for what he's doing. But Pastor Cymbala would FREAK over pretty much everything Steven Furtick does! Kinda funny.

I realize he may say that on his doctrinal statement, but he stated in his Sermon we baptized 1000 in Jesus Name over the last 2 weeks, I guess he could refer to the old Trinitarian belief that they do every thing in/through the authority of the Jesus, even though they speak titles over someone.

I like this preaching style, very challenging.
But his music guy is kinda creepy and sets off my gaydar.

For a lot of folks like him, I don't think it's any big deal. I would guess that if you watched him baptize someone in the "Name of the Father......." and you said to him, "Why don't you baptize in the name of Jesus", he might say, "I just did."
