From reading the quote it doesn't look like you see a difference. You stated 1) that you would never participate in it; 2) you want those who feel choir vs AI is apple vs oranges to "just think about it."
So where is the part where you acknowledge the difference?

Again, where do you acknowledge seeing the difference? I see you said "yes I know some of you will say that's inconsistent with AI" but then you added, "but just think about it."
There was nothing noting you seeing a difference between the two. In fact, your statement shows you don't see a difference and you want others (some of you) who do to "just think about it." Because really to you, both are the same.

They are VERY different which was my exact point. One is a singing competition to get a recording contract; the other is a competition to see who can praise God the best and do ministry the best. I find that deplorable.

I've NEVER watched AI till this past season and even then I missed too many
*darn* I watched only 'cause of this guy [I wish I could see all the episodes I missed with him singing, I heard I missed some really great ones] he is THE BEST, I agree that voice is FOR REAL and does just about anything.
Just watched this video - EXCELLENT and the movie is 2012??? Oh great!I shoulda known someone would make a movie about that.

ANYWAY I LOVE ADAM LAMBERT, his personal life aside. I do believe he is
ALREADY a superstar., I've seen some of his other video's from his past [excellent] he has been shining for a long time., and is a PRO, IMHO., he IS the best one of all the stars that have come from AI (that I know of, lol)
and in this newest video he is awesome! He looks a bit different though, but
for THAT video I guess he had to, and its a great look.
I highly doubt that ADAM will self-destruct., but I wish that he was heterosexual, I mean, IF he self-destructed it would have to be from AIDS.
With his performance Sunday and interview on CBS, I believe he is currently self-destructing.
