I'm really thankful for......

I asked the guys at the prison last night what they are really thankful for and one guy told me "I thankful to be clothed and in my right mind." I liked that answer. I really thankful for the Love and Mercy of God, my family, my job, my church, my friends, AFF........and tons of other things!!!!!!

What are you really thankful for? And what does your life declare that you are thankful for?

Re: I'm really thankful for......

For my God and Savior who has been very merciful to me, despite my wicked ways.

For a new love and respect for my Dad and for myself.

For my health, strength, job, car, where I am in life right now and how I got here, where I am going.

I am grateful for all of my ex-girlfriends, for the outcomes of my mistakes and bad decisions, for experiencing love, for losing love, for longing for love.

I am grateful for a positive work environment, for the respect of those who respect me professionally and personally, and for those who don't respect me too-- God uses them to teach me. I am grateful for God's life lessons and I am even more grateful when I pass them!

There is so much that I am grateful for!

Re: I'm really thankful for......

I said this morning in another thread, that I am thankful that Jack is alive.

for those that dont know, Jack is my 18 month old. We came very close to losing him earlier this year.

God has truely blessed us.

PTL! My brother and SIL asked about him last Sun. I am glad he is better again.

My niece Sarah is also doing good and the doctors are phasing out the meds.

Re: I'm really thankful for......

I'm really thankful that this paper will be finished by Thanksgiving! At the current rate...barely...

I'm also very thankful for my precious children. I'm thankful for the noise and chaos in my home because they live here. I'm thankful that we have everything we need, and so much more. I'm thankful for a good church and a good pastor. I'm thankful for good friends. I'm thankful that God never gave up on me.

Whataburger will make those if you ask! They cost almost nothing too.... Two slices of toast and 3 slices of bacon...the veggies are free.

Please drive through some WB and ask the drive thru order taker to ring one of these up. Bonus points if you get a new cashier. Although, going inside might be more exciting as you watch them try to figure it out.

I'm ornery tonight.
