I wouldn't expect a spandex wearer to accept this.

Right, I've wondered of being completely covered symbolizes complete righteousness.

Now I can buy that - - big difference in saying it's about wearing clothes to your feet.

Jesus is picture with a garment down to his feet, could this be used to teach against shorts?
I've also read where because the priest only showed his feet.hands and face when going into the holy place, we should to only show that much.
whta thinketh thou?

Hmmm that funny since the bible say a lot about men wearing skirts~
There are many more Bible verses for men wearing skirts than women wearing them! The Bible speaks of men's skirts twelve times: (Dt 22:30, Dt 27:20, Ru 3:9, 1 Sa 15:27, 1 Sa 24:4, 1 Sa 24:5, 1 Sa 24:11, 1 Sa 24:11, Eze 16:8, Hag 2:12, Hag 2:12, and Zec 8:23).

John was in exile on the Isle of Patmos. He was evidently alone. Jesus shows up. It's just the guys.
They could have donned some shorts and just dangled their feet in the water, after all it was just the two of them.
Yet, Jesus shows up clothed to foot. It is so remarkable that John recorded it. Why?
Maybe he realized that it was important enough for God to show up fully clothed even though no one else was going to see it that he noted it as worthy of mentioning.
