You're that old, Timmy?!?!

Or was that your dad around the time you were five?

*later edit: good grief, I've done proofreading for a living, and I type "you're" for "your"?!?! *blush*

LOL! Actually, that picture is from the forties, I think. I wasn't even a gleam in my dad's eye yet!

Did you get Windows 7, I got it late last year with a new computer, seems to be a really good system.

Re: New Windows 7

I've had Windows 7 (64 bit Home Premium) since day 1 of its official release. I love it!

Bought the three copies for 49.99 each when they were running a special in early July.

I've had the same problem at times when I use my laptop. I have Windows XP.

Re: New Windows 7

I missed that sale, RW!!!

I'm a Vista person myself. That's what the computer came with, and upgrade isn't available. But for what I use it for, Vista has been fine.

When I type on my laptop, suddenly my cursor will skip up or over a line or two. I don't like it, but it happened on my last laptop, too. Windows 98 and vista... it isn't a Windows issue, but a laptop and ergonomics issue for me. (If I would type correctly instead of resting my wrists on the mouse pad on a laptop, it wouldn't happen. I am learning...)

Re: New Windows 7

I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my computer & it is great!
Still takes a bit figuring out how to get to a certain place as it is set up differently than XP.
