Re: LEAST favorite food?

I made my guys something for supper tonight that would have been really, really good - IF I liked potatoes - which I don't!

you fry a lb. of bacon,
then fry a bag of hash browns in the bacon grease till they are browned nicely.
when they are done, add about 8 oz. sour cream, some sliced green peppers and 2 cups of grated cheese.
Mix this all together really well.

Then heat up flour tortillas till they are pliable.
Fill the tortillas with the potato mixture and roll up like a burrito. Put seam sides down on your baking sheet and spray the tops of the burritos with butter flavor crisco. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until the tortilla starts to brown a little bit.

That's it. Keith has two friends spending the night (actually, I'm beginning to think they might be moving in permanently. They've been here for 2 or 3 days now. LOL). One of the boys smothered his in hot sauce. Everyone else ate theirs as is. They've LOVED them!!

I had oatmeal for supper

Re: LEAST favorite food?

I could convert all you sushi haters (or those that are just skeered to try it). Let me know next time you're in Dallas. .

I have yet to fail.

Re: LEAST favorite food?

I've dropped McDonalds hamburgers (and everything else, by association) to pretty close to the bottom of my "favorite foods" list (not that they were ever close to the top!) after reading this.

(I should stop reading about stuff like this. The more ya know, the less you'll eat. Ever!)

Re: LEAST favorite food?

Fast food, and pinto beans. I hate refried beans, too.

I love most Mexican food, yet ALWAYS tell them to hold the beans.

(Unless of course they are MAGIC beans.)

ME, too! I don't understand why the meals can't be served with rice and sauteed onions/peppers or extra pico or something...why beans? Yuck!
