*All in my humble opinion.

I guess because, as you said, I didn't grow up in this that I can't identify.
A friend of mine was sharing a story that Joyce Meyer shared with them about a meeting she was requested to speak at in San Antonio. She talked about how she couldn't get this one piece of hair to lay down right. She was getting so frustrated! She went on to tell how God had spoke to her and instructed her to ask HIM to help her fix her hair. She thought that was silly and refused to do it. Well, she was pressed for time and finally asked God for His help - her hair worked perfectly! LOL!
She wanted to bring that to the audience. That is how God is and should be in our lives - that present and that real.
So, if I could be angry and critical and wanted to focus on something, it would not be the AI. It would be that parents and leaders are not teaching people that simple truth. God is accessible and present - prove Him and see!
That is one thing I taught my children - ask God. Go and ask God.
