Herein lies the whole reason WHY I am not going to the Winterfire 2010 event here locally this weekend. Because the last time I encountered UPC people, including a pastor, from up here they treated my daughter and myself like we were something they scraped off their shoe.
And I will not subject my family to that. There are a lot of folk in the UPC that I admire and enjoy freindships with, but the org itself? I wish them revival and a move of God, but they can keep their elitism... not interested.

And the funny thing is... me and mine live up to all their standards... what a gas.
But John, that's just because you are a "freebie"!! LOL

I was once a rough, violent man, and now I am not. Jesus set me free, I won't tolerate another man bringing me or mine into bondage.

Guess that makes me a "freebie" indeed.
