We've joined homeschool organizations where you have to sign a statement of faith. Some of them specify that you believe in three persons of the trinity. We put a notation in there that we believe in three manifestations, but not three separate people. We were accepted with no problem.... actually, the president sent a note back that that's what they believe, too.
I know that wasn't the total point of your post, but just wanted to clear that part up.

You are right of course, there are many Christian schools where it is not an issue. I was speaking from my personal experience with my child. Of course, there could have been other reasons why he was rejected other than us listing JC Full Gospel as our home church. But the application was submitted AFTER the other testing and it was an all go until the application, and when we returned to the school after submitting the app. where was a very different attitude by the staff. I knew it was over.
Perhaps they had accepted Apostolics before and some "dear brother, or sister" created a controversy????
