My only opinion will be to believe what he said and to believe the best in him. Love believes all things and hopes all things.

There is a difference in being remorseful in doing wrong & being sorry cuz you was caught.

Evidently, you have one heck of a gift of discerning of spirits, for you were able to know for a certainty that Tiger was only sorry that he was caught. How anyone that claims to live in the lifestyle of the grace of Jesus Christ, and automatically assume the worst in someone, is bountifully sad.

We don't know for a fact that TW is only sorry because he was caught. In fact, sometimes people who are in a tangle of sin are relieved to be caught!
Regardless, he's been in seclusion for 3 months, he gave a very somber apology, and only time will tell the truth about his motives. Did he act terrible? YES!!! If his wife takes him back, she deserves sainthood. Does that mean he deserves to be kicked in the ribs for years to come? No. And even if he did, he doesn't deserve it from us. He didn't do anything to you or me, Ron; he hurt his family. They're the ones he really needs to be concerned with.

Completely well said. How beautiful it would be if all those the Follow Christ would believe the best in others, first.
That being said, I believe there's meaningful evidence to suggest that Tiger is being completely real. If he weren't, he could've told Elin to cash in her prenup and take a hike, and head right back to the course where he would continue to dominate. Eventually, he would win enough and people would forget. But he didn't take that route. He has taken a very difficult route.
And I believe him.

That is very true, however the question was asked what was thought of the statement apology & I posted it.
I hold Tiger Woods no higher or lower than anyone else, that being said there was commentary on the radio that it was scripted, rehearsed, almost as if it was an act.
It also was about three months late.
That takes a little bit of the sincerity out of it.
All of that being said, I wish he & his family well & pray that he is successful in reconciling his family.

I still don't get it, Ron...
So it was scripted and rehearsed. He had a difficult thing to do, probably one of THE most difficult...who wouldn't write it down and rehearse it?
That doesn't make it an act or any less sincere.
