Rev. What by means and what methods are you using to "pull someone out of the fire?" Criticizing, putting them down, judging them? Would you treat one of your kids, if you have any, like you treat the downtrodden JCM'ers, if one of your kids "changed?"
And by the way who determines what is truth and what is doctrine. Not even a large organization like the UPC can come together on what is truth and what is doctrine. It seems almost every time they try, they split. And by the way, do you believe today, "EXACTLY" as you did when you became a Rev? Have you EVER changed on anything? HAve you EVER changed any of your doctrine and truth?

We love the backslider and do our best to help restore them...
Guess it's all in how you read it - - IF they come back, we will love them.
I'll admit it's all in how you interpret that. I believe you love the sinner too. However, some of your statements here have made me doubt that you'd give them a second chance if you can't even show up at the same event with them.
Guess I'm just adding up all the things to come to my conclusion.

Get real Rev. Randy. You can be righteous and holy, "holier than thou" and set everyone else in their place, (and you can say that's what I am doing, but I didn't start the negative responses on this thread....you did) and have all truth and doctrine and still be just "a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal," if you know what I mean!

Me, too. All those people with their ipods and iPads, laptops, Kindles, cell phones, iPhones, Blackberrys, ear buds, nice cars.... all those worldly things.
