This is real sweet

[Sister Alvear]

I had been thinking about buying me a purse....in fact thinking about it for almost 3 months! However I have a hangup...I am not tight but I hate to spend on myself when there are so many people that have real needs on the mission field...I had not said a word to anyone I wanted a purse. The other day we got in early in North Little Rock where Brother Alvear was preaching for a Spanish church and we were a little hungry so we stopped at McCain Mall to get something to eat.
As we went in I passed by a little place in the mall and slowed down and glanced at the purses but walked on. If I had told Brother Alvear I wanted a purse he would have bought me one. LOL ...I have to be so careful around him and not even mention I like something or he will try to buy it for me...
After we ate as we were walking close by the little stand where the purses are I spotted someone I knew that was standing by the purses...I walked over to say hello and she said, Sister Janice, my daughter owns this stand and she said she saw you walk by but you did not see her.

We talked a few moments and she said, Get you a purse and she proceeded to show me several ones and she held up the very one I thought was so nice...she said, Do you like this one....Needless to say it was my favorite!

She took the price off it and handed it to me and said this is a present from me...


We prayed right there in the mall and soon we had to leave...I was so blessed to think that God is so concerned even in our smallest wants....
