And then we could take this whole conversation back to the subject of Grace, which we won't. But this shows how different people with differing perspectives on grace approach this topic differently.
TS probably also thinks they have attained perfection.
A guy with a habit of thinking about a supermodel, or a gal that thinks about Brad Pitt for a moment during sex... on their way to the hot place? How much progress do I need to show I am "in the process?" How can I be assured here that He will keep his promise of salvation to me?
