In my dealing with people, unfortunately, I've seen the many that were most adamant about people's guilt had secret sin eventually confessed later. I can recall 3 examples of this specifically. Then again, you could also be right. I just think those that struggled and made it through would have more of a cautious, compassionate and merciful tone.
