The question would be how much hay would it take? Shouldn't be hard to estimate. The amount needed could be reasonable, or it could be more hay than we can grow. And the diverting from agricultural use to cleanup use must be considered. Not that that alone would be a show-stopper, but that effect alone could be quite serious.

It is a feasible way to protect some sensitive areas. We obviously can't "save the world" - but we can clean up a bit and allow the world to heal itself.

There are plenty of natural ways that these types of things have been cleaned up over the eons of time. That will continue to happen. We've just got to learn to live with our little messes and roll with the punches.

Timmy that was one of my concerns as well. Our cattle depend on that food for survival.

My brother doesn't think there is enough hay in the world to clean up that mess.

But if they could use just what they need near the coast lines I think it should be considered.
