Yes, it was meant as humor by means of exaggeration. Surely you're sharp enough to "discern" that. And surely, when I'm talking about how stupid I am, depressed, crying, wearing eye-liner, saying that even my enemies are helping me", you can do a quick calculation and figure out that I'm just being funny. I'll take a wild guess and figure you've joked like that before. When you and I talk, I often end up saying something like, "Believe what you want. I don't care". So dave, believe what you want. I don't care.
Second....yes, you said that neither I nor my church staff had any "common sense" or "discernment", and you weren't even close to joking.
I notice you didn't call me out for saying you were one of my best buddies? Did you figure out, there, that I was joking?
