You couild do the ole church split thing! Find the closet conservatives at your church to take with you, resign or be fired, then start a UPC church to compete with Peoples!!!

If you need some pointers (because I know you never have had church splits in Canada) head to Louisiana or Mississippi where every po dunk town has two or three churches, most of the time splits off each other.

My only request is that whether you are pastoring Peoples or a UPC church that you stay in the same area so you will be easy to visit when I book a cruise that leaves or arrives at Vancouver!!!
