Yes but the power and authority is in the name of Jesus...not His titles
Power and authority comes from God and not a name. Have you not read how certain jews tried to cast out devils in Jesus name and the devils would not obey. Faith must always accompany the name of Jesus. However, I think that if fasting is effective without invoking the name of Jesus then baptism also is effective without invoking the name either.

13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
They aren't calling on Jesus....they are calling on Jesus in the name of Paul...which is a whole different message.

The point about the jews calling on the name of Jesus only proved the point that the name must be spoken in faith in order for it to be effective. Do you disagree with this?
If you want to address my point about the name not being required then answer whether you have ever fasted without invoking the name of Jesus and whether this fast effective?

Matt. 28:17,18
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Phil. 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

EDIT:
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
The literal name Jesus was not above every name. In fact there are plenty of spanish speakers that are named Jesus even today. Do they also have a name that is above every other name? No they do not because the literal name of Jesus is not literally better than every other name. They have not been given the power and authority that God gave Jesus. The giving by God of the name was symbolism for God giving Jesus power and authority.
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...
When is the last time you bowed a knee upon literally hearing the name Jesus?
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
When is the last time you openly confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord upon literally hearing the name Jesus?
