Exactly. After the Duke Lacrosse fiasco and other false rape reports, there needs to be legal action and penalty filed against those who would file a false report and lie to police about this serious crime. And the penalty should be tough. There's too much of this that's been happening lately, and for the accused their reputation is completely ruined regardless while most of the time the woman gets off without so much as a warning.
