And while we're at it, this adultery law was a wonderful thing. In fact, the entire Law was a beautiful gift of grace (ironically) from the lawless conditions they had before. It taught them how to live a life fully. It was to be their schoolmaster. It was a beautiful thing. But their sin and rebellion screwed it all up. Adultery when this law was written was 10x more common then it was now. It wasn't a "duh" moment for the Hebrews.

Nor was there a "broken understanding" when it came to outward apperance and the Jews. They knew how to dress. Unlike some people on this website
