I personally think the NET is a presumptuous interpretation of the text in Jude verse 6 to say the least. The context is not saying the angles and the Sodomites had similar sins, but the Israelites were similar to the Sodomites in verse7.
1Co 10:8 KJV Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
