Some people are afraid of education. Some explicitly put it down, even condemn it. I was on the pulpit committee of my last AG church, and one of the candidates had a Master's degree. Couple of the others didn't want to consider him, just for that reason!
Now, DKB is obviously not afraid of education, in general. But maybe there is some nervousness about getting a higher degree in theology from a major university, and especially one that requires a lot of class time. Most of them are both Trinny and fairly liberal, aren't they? Might not be a good match for a Oneness Pentecostal.
There clearly is a way to get a masters from there by writing a thesis only.
You are right we don't know...
I wouldn't compare reading a book the same as taking classes on the graduate level. you might be able to gain some information but it is not the same as interacting with teachers and peers like you do in a class setting online or in person.
I agree, though I do know it is possible to interact with teachers and peers without actually being enrolled in a full time masters degree program

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Write a research paper .... get a doctorate .... awesome.
I know a place in New Jersey that'll write it for you.
I understand some professors and others working on doctorates sometimes will hire a researcher, also
