I wasn't going to comment into this thread at all, until after I looked at my facebook newsfeed and saw a comment from a young man from our church who I had a great deal of respect for. He had commented that he was watching a movie, gave the title of the movie and commented that it was funny. Then one of the pastor's daughters had responded that it was a very funny movie. I thought, well, maybe it would be something my family might like. Boy was I VERY shocked at the movie review on pluggedinonline!
Over 100 uses of f-word. God's name in vain 10 times, and another 10 references to Jesus in an offensive manner, several crude sexual references, sexual situations....... among many other things.
Obviously people have VERY different places of drawing lines, or not drawing lines.

I've read the unplugged reviews many times. Without fail, is it just me, or is it really awkward how they tally up curse words, references to this or that, 7 cleavage spots, 10 scenes with tight clothing, 4 suggestive jokes, 2 adult scenarios, etc...?
Tina, yes, people definitely have different lines. While Unplugged can be helpful getting an idea of the movie, the tally system doesnt really tell the story for me. Schindler's List, for example, would sound like a X-rated film on the tally system, but the sense you get when watching the film is not titilation.
