The operative word is "oughtest" in
Acts 10:6. "ought" means "necessary".
Acts 10: "He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side:
he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do."
He couldn't have been saved if there were things the angel told him were "necessary" for him. We find out he needed to, also, be spirit filled. (
Acts 10:45-46).
