If it IS you, then you know I only go there about once every couple of months anymore. I am just too busy...life has went on, and I almost missed out on a great life by spending too much time in cyberspace...
I do not regret the people I have met, do not regret the experience as a whole, but I was out of my element, and about blew it. No amount of contacts, networking, or cyber friends is worth missing REALITY.
I am a much more happy person as a pastor, than I was as a Webmaster. Stress levels can be about the same though!

My problem with Ferd, though, and people like him is, he seems to view ANYTHING oppositional as an "incessant rant." I don't believe that's fair. We're here to discuss things. This is a marketplace of ideas, a culture of dialogue, and for some, it's a place of needed healing or finding a reason for the pain they feel. It's a real world whether or not Ferd wants to acknowledge it or learn about it.
Ferdinand, old friend, you are wasting your breath. I agree, some have shot themselves in the foot and seemingly just want to cry about it for the rest of their life. Others have a legitimate gripe, and some of those do NOT cry about it. However, I doubt you will ever get some of the folks on here to agree with you about it. That mean old UPC just loves to kill people! Thick sarcasm intended.
The UPC has done a lot of good for many, many people. Myself, included.

There are some who view any opposition as an "incessant rant". That is true. It's those folks, who whine against whiners that I'm whining about!! LOL! I'm not whining about the whining. I'm whining about the hypocrisy. As for Ferd, I will let him speak for himself!
