What I don't understand is why God is so very unforgiving.
In
Matthew 18:21-22, we have this:
Quote:
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

I'm supposed to forgive someone "seventy times seven" but God can't find it in his heart to forgive someone who may have believed the wrong way even once? Or stole a pencil? Or broke the speed limit? Or said a harsh word to their child? Etc., etc. That's what hell is to me: a demonstration of God's inability to forgive.
Just writing this I have tears in my eyes. It hurts to even think this. Yes, I got the reality of hell in my heart, to the point that if it's true, I don't want anything to do with the alleged god in charge. If I can, should and must be more forgiving than God....
