If the screening made more sense I don't think people would be so up in arms. But when a three year old is subjected to a pat down but Muslim women may be getting a pass and do so now to a certain extent....the people don't have the trust neccessary to make it possible for the TSA to pull this off.

actuall that is also no longer true... and it makes me very very mad.
so long as the government (police) are treating everyone the same, they can pull everyone over and search.
the supreme court has ruled this.
a case in Louisiana was brought because of DUI check points. they were stopping all cars and checking for alcohol. someone took it to the court and the court ruled they can stop everyone but they cannot single one person out without probable cause.
I think it is stupid. I think a check point is a serious constitutional violation but it is legal these days.
