Ah. I see. Well, we have yet to see how homosexuality is against nature. I have presented evidence to the contrary (homosexuality occurs in nature), but all you did to try to counter it was to say chemicals can induce homosexuality in animals. Though I doubt we can find that that is the only cause, and in all 1500 species it has been observed in.
Further, it seems unnatural to you because, perhaps, you are heterosexual: you are not attracted to the same gender. Homosexuals, on the other hand, are not attracted to the opposite gender, so heterosexuality may seem unnatural to them.
Now, can you explain more precisely why you think allowing same-sex marriage would endanger all of our lives? (It won't cause a nuclear explosion, I'm pretty sure!)

Hebrews 13:23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty
Every Nation on Earth has its Evils. And, many of the Evils you mention have changed, by Law.
Without the Family, the World has nothing. Everything, morally, ethically, and spiritually, comes from the Family. That's because God made the Family. Every rule and every Law must be based upon the Family, period.
Guarding this Ordained Creation of God is vital to the future of our Planet, as judgment began with the Family and will end with the Family. Put it this way Aquila, when push comes to shove, ALL of us turn to our Families when nothing is left, IF they are healthy and strong.
I also believe that the gauge of any Society comes from the Family. If the Family is strong and morally protected, the remainder of the population will reap the reward of stability and direction. What God did in the Beginning, building the Family unit, this precious bond of Man/Wife/Children must remain the top priority of any Civilization.
Where have you been bro? The family is largely in shambles already. I wouldn't doubt that the break down in the family is partially to blame for all the gender role confusion. Gays aren't a threat to the family, many loving families have gay members. And yes, gay people have families and love them dearly. My uncle is gay and he's a great guy. One of the most honest men I know. However, he does need Jesus. The issue as I see it is that families have lost their foundation.... Jesus. For most Americans, the Christian faith is something practiced at church. Things are so crazy and time is so limited many families opt out of going to church regularly. So... what little "Christianity" they'd get in church isn't there. We need to bring faith and practice back into the homes.

Also, your desire for Freedom is not entirely Biblical. In fact, Scripture leans to a more Socialistic Society.
Who put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Adam and Eve's back yard and gave them a choice?
We all make choices in life. This is a free country. I can buy adult entertainment, drink until sun up on the weekends, watch violent movies, read the Satanic bible, join a space alien worshipping cult, live with a woman, live with a man, live by myself, get married, stay single, be Christian, be Buddhist, be Muslim, be Hindu, be an atheist, or whatever else I choose to be or feel led to be. This is freedom. It's ugly sometimes. It's messy. It requires maturity and tolerance. It calls for patience. It calls for introspection. And when I was in the military I thought about all the crazy sinful things in our society that men and women are free to do... and I realized... freedom is holy... even when people choose to do the wrong things. And I realized that freedom is something worth dying for.
We really have a noisey bunch of liberal winers and a noisey bunch of angry conservatives whipping us all up into a frenzy to get our votes. That's all it's about. None of this is real serious persecution.
I vote that government needs to get out of the marriage business altogether and allow churches, families, and private institutions to define marriage for themselves.
I found this chart a bit humorous, but food for thought. It illustrates that marriage is a thing that each society defines for itself. Nowhere does God truly "define marriage".
You'll find that in the Bible marriage takes several different forms given the cultural development of society. You'll find that there are several different institutions defined as marriage. Here's how the Bible itself defines each institution of marriage throughout Scripture:
aquila you can say it is a free country but what you listed is bondage....
You wouldn't know freedom of it walked up to you and shook your hand. Don't you realize that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the United States, and perhaps even the world? Do you really want to open the door for religious zealots to legislate religious convictions upon every citizen? Look at the way things are going in Europe. I'd rather live in a free republic than live under a radical right wing theocracy.
