Good post. I don't think it's wrong to do the Harley night. But if you say you won't advertise on TV and then you do, then you are in rebellion. I don't see how people can get around this stuff.

This post is asinine. I find many in OP churches worshipping during the music, is the music their God?

BTW, I ride a goldwing.

It's not ok for UPC minister to advertise on TV.

That's my interpretation of the 2007 UPC version of the "manifesto"!!
It was still done using a UPCI pastor's voice over. The same commercial was used for Radio.

Either way you look at it.

They did it.

And who cares....

What is the difference from the radio and TV or a billboard or Newspaper.

The newspaper has just as much garbage in it as anything else...

The problem with your statement, We all look "HOLY" and we ARE having Revival! The word "look" is the problem.

Take a poll at your church.

How many of your 600 were there a yar ago?

I can tell you your church most likely has a 30-40 turn over every 2-3 years.

I attended a UPCI church of of 1200-1500.

Problem being every 5 years the church remained 1300 or so and 500 of the folks were new?

They baptized some 30 thousand folks from 1971 to present and now run less than 1000.
