I have contracted with a company that takes phone calls for an insurance carrier. The insurance company relies on direct marketing (they use tv ads). Because of the nationwide aspect of their marketing approach, agents have to be licensed in at least 5 states before they can start taking calls for them. I have been a licensed insurance agent in my home state for 8 years now, but I need to get licensed in more states. This is what I am waiting to happen. I will be ready to start making some money as soon as I get 3 more state appointments (licenses).
