Re: Store Owner Uses The Name Of Jesus

I don't believe it, as some would say God doesn't answer the prayers of someone wearing pants and with cut hair.

Pastor Keith,

Did you miss the ear rings? And by the way, she said there was no money! .... And I think that was a lie! ..... What does she mean she got angry! You can't get angry and be right.... unless your'e on AFF and you don't like what your "brother or sister" posted.

Now God surely wouldn't or couldn't help someone so "Unholy!" TIC.....

Just being stupid..... opening the door for those who choose to be judgmental and want to take this poor lady apart.

The truth is, God is not limited by our narrow vision and by our need to judge others and their relationship with God. He is God and will do as He pleases in spite of me..... or you!

Please forgive me for my sarcasm! ...... I'll do better next time, I promise.

It may have been a quick fib--probably out of self-preservation, however, it might have been true. I worked with BHILL at his insurance office, and every afternoon before 5, all the money/checks go to the bank. So unless someone else comes in with a payment after that, it would be true that there was no money in the office. Furthermore, to prevent customers from thinking there are large amounts of money in the office, we don't make change for cash payments. They're required to go get a money order in the exact amount. I've had to tell quite a few people, "I'm sorry; we don't keep cash for change." That's true, even if there's some cash in the drawer.

It was 6:10 in the evening, and a bank deposit may have already been made. Or, all money that's normally in the cash drawer could have already been locked up in a safe. I prefer to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe. But the fib, if it was a fib, would have been for money-preservation, not self (it would be counter productive for that, though, to be fair, maybe she wasn't thinking on her feet very well). And a retailer is a bit different, I'd think, from an insurance office. They would likely never deposit all the cash they have -- they'd want to be able to make change for the next customers.

The correct response for anyone in this situation is the let them have what they want. Unless, of course, you have enough faith to do what this lady did, and then, you will find out if it was enough. Hmm. Wait. I guess you folks would still say, as Hoovie did, no matter what happens, God came through for you. So, I guess we can't ever say there wasn't "enough faith", because even if you get shot, God was there for you. Even if you die, God was there. I guess.

Boy, the "quality of his message" is about as poor as the quality of his video. And why doesn't the big boy in the white shirt show his face. I don't think I would either if I was in his position.
