Hi Hoovie,
Those stories are not big here, Canada was founded differently, although they are taught in schools as part of history. When the Mayflower came over Newfoundland was long settled. St. John's, Newfoundland is the oldest settlement in North America, Cupids, Newfoundland was established in 1610. Canada's Thanksgiving isn't as old as your though, and is more of a Thanksgiving for the blessings we have been given, the things we have, for families and friends and for the harvest.

A brother pointed out to me this weekend that 10X10X10 were the dimensions of the Most Holy Place in Solomon's temple!

Sooooo,..that would be a "grand" niece,..??? Congradulations! I just had my 2nd grandbaby (a girl!!!!). Aren't they wonderful?
