Re: Long Lines Lead to Rise of Wheelchair 'Miracle

By the way, the last several times I have flown to San Francisco, the airport (SFO) has been very unbusy. Not much traffic, short check-in lines (or none at all), short security lines. This is at the international terminal (flying from/to Texas ), so maybe the others are busier.

Re: Long Lines Lead to Rise of Wheelchair 'Miracle

I have a handicap placard for both of my vehicles. I park in handicap designated areas. I can walk short distances without a cane or walker but I cannot stand for more than a few minutes at a time. If I had to stand in a line I would have to use a wheel chair or sit in the seat on my walker. Then afterward I would get out of the chair and walk. It wouldn't be a "miracle" or a "fake healing." It's just that I cannot stand for more than a few minutes.

By the way, years ago in some of the healing meetings, they had a supply of wheel chairs. If there was going to be a prayer line and someone had difficulty standing for any length of time they would be provided a wheelchair. Then when they got to the evangelist and he/she prayed for them, the evangelist would take the person by the hand and pull him/her out of the chair and the person would walk off stage. It made the "healing" look more spectacular if they were pulled from their feet from a wheel chair.

That's how it works for my dad, too. But he doesn't spring up out of the chair and jog the rest of the way (as I bet you don't, either)! (He gets a ride all the way to the gate, btw. If he couldn't do that, he just wouldn't fly, ever. Which he pretty much doesn't anymore, anyway. )

Standard procedure for those shows. Er, healing meetings.
