LOL... I never bought the book, it would have been a waste of my money. Someone lent me a copy, wanted me to read it, and wanted my thoughts. I had to push myself to read it.
I'll pass on the blood mushrooms too... lol

After 2015 John Hagee is going to come out with the book called Five Luft Balloons, and Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is going to come out with the book Hardbringer how to make money off of Dooms Day Eschatology.

Re: The Harbinger
seems to me the biggest question one might have with the book is "Were these things actually proclaimed, in the House, senate," "Was the tree replaced as per the curse," etc., and, if they were, then the writing style might be disregarded for the reality--if reality it is--presented. What is "fictional, but real" anyway? lol

Re: The Harbinger
Well, I never got to read past the third chapter of the book before I got laid off work last Monday. No fault of my own. Work was slow and they felt they could not justify keeping me, the last person who had been hired, 35 hours a week when things were as slow as they were. I left the book there on my desk and told her about my layoff. Kinda glad where the book is concerned because I really was not enjoying it. It felt like a bunch of confusion when I was reading it in the first place... and I trust my instincts. Instead of sitting at my desk reading that book, I've been at home taking care of things you can't do when you work and job hunting. Yuck. I hate job hunting... and the market is super slow right now.

Will be praying for you to find a job and bravo that you were able to make it to the third chapter. Maybe some Meemaw will be happy to find the book and use it for some before bed reading.

LOL I am pretty sure she took it home. It's not a big firm.
Thank you for your prayers.

Re: The Harbinger
I read it and would preferred a different format for the content to be written in. Over all I liked the book and find I am not so dogmatic as others who seem to think God only listens to those that have the FULL truth and have nothing else to learn. I would love to be one of those but I find myself ever learning and enjoy the process.
I also liked the history lessons about America that was included in the book.

Oh, I don't think the main dislike of the book was because of the Messianic Rabbi being the author. It would be more focused on how America entered a covenant with God through President George Washington at the Saint Paul's chapel in New York. Jonathan Cahn makes statements which are either incorrect or half truths. While we can learn much from others no matter what they might believe, as in eating the fish and spitting out the bones. Sometimes we can get a hold of one amazingly bony fish.
