Re: Get your Degree Today

Prax,

I just received an email Pieter F. Craffert chair of the department of New Testament and Early Christian studies.

"[The PhD] is a fully researched degree, and access is dependent on a research masters degree."

It is clear no classes were taken.

It appears from what he sent that they assign you the topic.

Below is a portion of a 7 page attachment detailing the research procjects:

Duration: 2009 – 2011
Activities: 2010: Papers at departmental research seminar

4. Self-reflexivity: New Testament and Early Christian Studies as an academic discipline

Write a research paper .... get a doctorate .... awesome.

I know a place in New Jersey that'll write it for you.

I understand some professors and others working on doctorates sometimes will hire a researcher, also

Re: Get your Degree Today

Baron, many universities in other countries such as Australia, Netherlands, UK, etc do not require "classes" for doctorates. That certainly does not mean they are less difficult. Check out Leiden University's PhD programs in the Netherlands - that's certainly not a fly-by-night school.

However, many times the paper is defended and presented to a panel of academics.
